January 2019 Regents Exams
New York State Regents and RCT Exams are scheduled for Tuesday, January 22nd through Friday, January 25th. All schools are closed on Monday, January 21st for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Only students who are scheduled to take an exam will come to school. Exams will begin at either 9:15 am or 1:15 pm. If you are scheduled for an exam, plan to arrive at school no later than 8:45 am or 12:45 pm so that you will not be late. Be sure to bring your Wagner ID, two #2 pencils, a pen (blue or black ink), a calculator (as needed) and a copy of your Exam Schedule which you received in your period 1 class.

In accordance with New York State Education Department Policy, students cannot have any communications devices, including a cell phone, with them during a Regents Exam or during any breaks (such as a restroom visit). Such devices include, but are not limited to:

• Cell phones
• iPods and MP3 players
• iPads, tablets, and other eReaders
• Personal laptops, notebooks, or any other computing devices
• Cameras or other photographic equipment
• Wearable devices/smart wearables, including smart watches and health wearables with a display
• Headphones, headsets, or in-ear headphones such as earbuds
• Any other device capable of recording audio, photographic or video content, or capable of viewing or playing back such content

All prohibited devices will be collected by the proctor in the testing room and then returned at the end of the exam.

If a cell phone or any of these items are in a student’s possession, his/her exam will be invalidated and no score will be given.

Virtual Enterprises Champs!

Virtual Enterprises Champs! Congratulations to the Virtual Enterprises firm of Bake-ology. They won first place in the local business plan competition. Congratulations to Gregory Lugo; CEO, Angel Villanueva, Phillips Smith, Ariel Sklyarevskiy, Karina Aslungun and Jayda Alamo. They now advance to the Citywide Competition in February. Let’s go Virtual Enterprises!
Attention all International Festival participants
The pre-sale for International Festival Tickets begins on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at 8:00PM. You must use the pre-sale password that will be sent as a message via Remind. The link for the pre-sale is below and this pre-sale will be available until Friday, December 14th at 11:59 PM. Each ticket is $10 dollars and a service fee of $0.50 per ticket and 3.5% of gross sale will be added to each transaction.
Attention all International Festival Students
The auditorium schedule for International Festival is now available. All clubs have been given time to rehearse on the stage. Clubs are not allowed to switch days in the auditorium for any reason.

Clubs are also allowed to practice at their normal location and times ONLY during their scheduled practice times as listed on the Susan E. Wagner High School club schedule.

The Club Schedule and Auditorium Schedule are both attached!

Password = birthdate, but no zeroes in front of single digits. For example: 1/2/2004.

To vote when logged into Naviance:

Go to the upper right corner for the drop down menu and select "About Me" (from the drop down menu)
Select my surveys
Select surveys not started
Select 2019 Freshmen Runoff Election
Make your choice and click submit! (make sure you finish the survey or the vote will not go through).
Senior Prom
The Senior Prom online store is now active!! Students MUST pick up a PROM APPLICATION at the FALCON'S NEST. Students will only be given a prom application if their senior dues are paid. Please check the attached file for application instructions. Students who pay before January 1st will receive a $15-dollar discount. The deadline for payment is April 26th .

All payments are to be made on through the Falcon Store/Online Payments section. Each payment will be charged a transaction fee. Here is a direct link to the store

Students must hand in a copy of their receipt and the completed application to the Falcon's Nest!
2018 Water Testing Results
Please see the attached document On 11/20/2018, all operational sources of water at Wagner Athletic Field - Staten Island (Susan E. Wagner High School at 1200 Manor Road, Staten Island, NY 10314), including for drinking or cooking, were tested for the presence of lead. The laboratory results showed no elevated levels of lead in any of the samples. Please see the attached letter for more information.
